Call for Candidates – Special Election As Hubertus Snaegla has recently stepped down as our Chatelain and with our current need for a Webminister, we will be holding a special election to fill the remaining term of these positions. If you are interested in running for either position, please submit your Letter of Intent to the Seneschal, Baroness Laurena Mouchot,by the Business Meeting scheduled for June 8, 2025. The special election will be held during the July Business Meeting.
Call for Deputy Minister of A&S (South) Volunteer As Lady Dionise O’Towie has recently stepped down from her role as Deputy A&S Minister (South), we are currently seeking a volunteer to fill this position. If you are interested in taking on this role, please reach out to our Minister of A&S, Honorable Lady Simona della Luna, for more information.
Proposed Bylaw Amendments The proposed amendments to our Bylaws are hereby published. The proposed amendments: clarify terminology used in the Bylaws document, clarify officer and non-elected roles, establish official communications, establish a financial committee, clarify approval of event and activity proposals, and establish a clear process for adopting or changing policies and bylaws. 2025-26 Officer Election Letters of Intent have been received for the offices of Exchequer, Knight Marshal and Webminister. We continue to seek a volunteer for the office of Herald and ask you to contact the Seneschal to express your interest.
The election will be held during this business meeting. Members of the Shire Populace (anyone able to demonstrate reasonable levels of participation in diverse activities within the Shire of Caer Adamant) are eligible to vote in officer elections. One vote per person will be accepted either in person or via this ballot. The winner will be that candidate who receives a simple majority of the votes cast.

Join us for a HALLOWEEN THEMED POTLUCK SOCIAL. After our 11:00 AM business meeting, we will enjoy a potluck picnic lunch, with medieval games for both kids and adults and a “sheep hunt” for the little ones. With so many talented folks in our Society, it’s no surprise to us that we love a good costume! Show us your favorite spooky SCA look!
The Shire will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs. Please bring a side dish to share for the potluck (along with an ingredient list for those that need to know). Send a note to our Seneschal (or comment on the Facebook event post) about the food you are bringing to aid in coordination.

We will be discussing many things, but this year’s event ideas are on the top of the list. Come with your event ideas and a plan of how you want to run one. Or, come to listen to other proposals to see where you might offer help or ideas.
A&S Projects: Come meet with our new A&S Minister and tell her about your projects; and if there is anything you would like to see a workshop or class for.
Marshal Activities: Join our Knight Marshal to hear about the newest fighters he is training and his progress on loaner armor.
