MONTHLY Meeting
Occurs monthly on Sunday. ALL are welcome to attend. Dress is modern (no garb please). We typically gather for food either directly before or after our meeting. Arts & Sciences (A&S)
A&S weeknight
First Tuesday of every month starting at 7:00 p.m. hosted by Baroness Hedewigis in Hockessin, DE (Google Maps). Dress is modern. Contact Baroness Hedewigis 302-239-9787 for more information. House is a red barn. Carpooling to the site is highly encouraged.
An opportunity to work on various A&S projects in good company. Trying an new stitch? Need help marking a hem? Need tasters for your new recipe? Light refreshments are available.
A&S north & south
NORTH: Held every other Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. hosted by Lady Aoife inghean in Newark, DE (Google Maps). Dress is modern.
SOUTH: Held every other Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. hosted by Lady Laurena in Magnolia, DE (Google Maps). Dress is modern.
These are informal gatherings, held in the North on one Sunday and in the South on the next, and so on, are focused on specific A&S projects or topics. Come with your own project or learn something new!
Dance Class
Second Tuesday of every month 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Kennett Friends Meeting located at 125 W. Sickle Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 (Google Maps).
Lord George joins us from the Shire of Hartshorn-dale to educate Shire of Caer Adamant in the ways of period dance. From 8:30 – 9:00 p.m. we practice dances seen after the Middle Ages. No experience needed, just your smile! Come on out and join us for dancing and socializing!
GARB WORKSHOPS
Having no set date, these monthly workshops are scheduled based on availability of hosts for them and are meant for folks who need or want time to work on or get help from knowledgeable individuals with creating period garb for SCA events. See our calendar for date, time and location.
MEDIEVAL GAMES NIGHT (garb optional, but encouraged)
Occurs about once a quarter. We try to announce these programs in advance/ as soon as they’re scheduled. Please feel free to bring an edible or potable treat to share. We have bocce outside (weather permitting) and various other medieval games inside. If you have a favorite game, bring it! See our calendar for date, time and location.
Scribal Nights
Occurs about once a month, typically on Fridays, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Wilmington, DE. Hosted by Lady Mari and Lady Shoshana. Dress is modern. See our calendar for date, time and location.
Learn about and practice Calligraphy and Illumination in good company. Bring your sketchbook, brushes and paints/inks. Certain supplies are available for borrowing to get you started!
Martial Activities
armored combat (Heavy Weapons)
Every Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Glasgow Regional Park, 2275 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702 (at the old stone wall running parallel to Pulaski Hwy/Route 40 at the park’s East Entrance near Pavilion #3). (Google Maps or site map). Contact our Knight Marshal for more information.

TARGET Archery

THROWN WEAPONS
First, second and fourth Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home of Baroness Hedewigis in Hockessin, DE (Google Maps).
Practices are open to anyone age 5 and up (minors must have a parent/legal guardian present). Loaner equipment is available and instruction can be given.
