Tassels can be found going back thousands of years and have been made as embellishments, ornaments, and decorations as a symbol of status, luxury, or luck. They are a universal adornment that found their way onto garments, blankets, rugs, carriages, chandeliers, canopies, draperies and pillows, in various cultures from all over the world!
